DISCOVER is a series of woven experiments with a focus on material and creation process. By challenging the boundaries of the weaving loom, a third dimension is given to the weaving, which is usually a rectangular and two-dimensional surface because of the right-angled connection between warp and weft. The shape of the woven pieces is determined by the laws and codes of the loom and the characteristics of the chosen materials. The result is a series of weavings that are aimed to surprise the viewer by means of colour, material and structure.
